Nope. Fergie wanted Kluivert to partner Yorke. Cole wasn't in his plans at the time. Started against Southampton and the rest is history.

An 8/10 signing for me, at least but love it when these unheralded signings come off when we’re all looking at the Kluiverts/Battistutas etc although would’ve loved the Argie.
