Absolute nonsense. He's the best player in the world and when, not if, he joins them he'll tear it up.

We can't worry about them. Just be as good as we can be

Saw them articles from months back.

Who knows, maybe he has signed a contract? Maybe he hasn't? All I know is, if he signs for City and after their summer activity over the last year or two, it would not reflect well on Guardiola at all

So he gets Barca a fee and isn't hated by their fans?

He should leave imo. Just wait til the summer then go for free for an insane weekly wage ( more likely they'll just pay him a giant signing on fee and a normalish wage for his level )

Barca are not run very well, are they.

So if he manages to attract one of the best players of all time to a club whose international pedigree is limited to the lowest attended European final in history it will reflect badly on his management?

Shevchenko was 30 and still scoring at well over a goal every other game in Italy and Europe when he signed for peak Chelsea and was absolute turd. Falcao couldn't buy a goal in England but is a goal a game for Monaco again.

Sparky can scoff all he likes, but my money would go on him being underwhelming even if he did sign for Citeh. .
Not sure if serious.

Yeah.

For one of the supposed "best managers ever," the mere fact he needs to spend over half a billion quid on players and then an extra 400 million on the best player in the world to win a £#%&!ing league, wouldn't exactly be an achievement now would it?!

That £#%&!ing clear enough for you?

Don't know where 400m comes from as his clause is 250m.....

With transfer fees that's not too bad for the greatest player we may ever see but %@#$&!s to it. Someone has to maintain some principle in these dastardly game.

Nothing good ever comes out of dressing like Elvis.

It’ll be funny when they finally land both Guardiola & Messi, the home kit, the boardroom, bring Xavi out of retirement, exhume Cruyff, spend two billion and win £#%&! all.
You forgot to mention .........."THE TUNNEL"!

Barcelona players are linked with City and Madrid players linked with us. Two weeks later and a new and improved contract is signed.

Yeah, that's happening

The only motivation possible would be money. Not like Barca have him on YTS wages.

New deal to be announced next week according to the Catalan press.

€550k a week wage and an €80m (!!) signing fee to guarantee his signature. Papers are saying Barca have sold the naming rights to the Nou Camp to cover the costs involved

He's probably seen Rooney do it and thought "I'll have a piece of that"

Great club, but anyway, he'd never leave barca because he owes them a life debt...

They took on his poor growth and messed up spine and pumped him full of all the under radar drugs to make him the player he is today...

They and him need each other...

Would bomb in the premier...
