I think the collective standard of all the top leagues is the lowest I’ve seen in my lifetime.

From the 80s through to recently, there has always been at least one special team, even if the leagues were on their arse. I’ve never known Madrid and Barca so shit at the same time. Our current champions have lost six league home games in a row and I can’t take Serie A seriously when Ashley young is tearing it up.
