As you said, not a £#%&!ing peep about the shite from last week although Birtles mentioned it on commentary yesterday. If that was the other way round Clattenburg would have been dropped this week.
He was very pro United wasn't he? Went into a random rant about Varney.

Commentator said United looked like seeing the result out and Birtles went "Oh don't say that!" Proper fan like

Brilliant isn't it.

Sick of these officials making correct decisions.

I was astonished listening to him, such a bizarre commentary, when it's not anti-United. Is it just overseas feeds that get him?

Clattenberg was not demoted this week? Disgraceful, that is why managers have to make a fuss about bad decisions. Not just the Rafael double jeopardy debacle, but De Laet not being sent off, the ball out for their first goal, the foul on Blackett in the build up to the second pen, it was a wretched performance by the Ref.

Might be wrong, but I think the premier league package up the live matches (commentators, graphics etc) and sell them abroad to all countries, English speaking ones anyway. Always get old ex-pros you haven't thought about in decades.

The Sun gave him 8/10.

I'm happy not to have the sympathy. If Falcao had done that to turn the game with us 3-1 down there would be national outcry and he'd be getting booed up and down the country. Varney's reputation has been enhanced for basically cheating and the ref is unaffected.

LvG does referees a big favour in these instances though by not making a fuss. Will be interesting to see if that persists.

It's cliche to say it now, but the day we do get a fair deal from the general public in these situations is the day to worry.

I'd love for the interviewer to say to Allardyce

"So United were down to 10 men for nearly 40 mins, had all their central defenders bar Rojo injured and were giving a debut to an 18 year old kid but that wasn't enough of an advantage for you Sam? You also think you should get offside goals as well?"

He must have been £#%&!ing seething with his team for not being able to win that game. They'll never get a better set of circumstances that's for sure.
