Did say this would happen .. the full-backs were finished back end of last season never mind this. So much revolves around those 2 that it throws the team out of whack, compounded by an ancient & under-resourced central midfield .. poor in attack, poor in defence ..

As for City strolling .. 8 games in .. need to see the performances if/when Haaland starts missing a few games, now they've changed the system to accommodate him. They should really have a few points less. Bigger question is whether Arsenal / Spurs can put up the 85 pts minimum they'd need to finish above. Probably not. Partey goes to the clink and Arsenal are done. Spurs .. just a bit too workmanlike, though Conte has clearly improved them hugely.

Yes. Arsenal win ratio last season went from 65% to 25% without Partey. Conceded 3 in 5 games with him this season; 5 in 3 without (2 of which were home games). He's an enormous player for them and they won't get the rub of many decent sides without him .. they're always massively open to counter attacks (as at OT).
