Atleast Liverpool at their worst turned up for a game when they played us. This team is worse. I doubt there were leaks and a wage bill probably now in the top 5 in Europe.

Apparently Gerrard is complaining after the pitch invasion at the end. Something about one of his players getting injured.

I had Final Score on for once. They were showing goals across the league as they were scored. Son scored another belter to share the golden boot with Salah and Vardy scored a lovely goal too. Other than Zaha's goal there was barely any mention of our game all afternoon though.

I tend to agree with supporters who argue that one of the club's faults is too much obsession with nostalgia. Even down to the kits having to contain a nod to the past. But yesterday was 14 years to the day of the Moscow final in 2008 and thinking about it if you told me afterwards that Liverpool would win the CL again before we would, or that on three different occasions in the coming years we'd be relying on City to win on the final day to win the league in order to stop Liverpool winning the title - while not being in the title race at all ourselves - you'd sound like a maniac. We can't have another season like this.
