He didn't support Oldham as a kid, United if I'm not mistaken and I think they've got a game today as well, you know. I know Scholes is above criticism but if Rio was watching a London club now there'd be an uproar.

all the reports when he's at boundary park always say watching his boyhood club, and his little un is always in oldham gear

Are these the same reports who say he's from Salford? You may be right, I'm not certain one way or another. I'd still prefer to see him watching United though.

remember reading he put his childhood hero down as Frankie Bunn and that he would like to play for Oldham in the last season of his career

but the comparison in attitudes to Rio if he was watching the hammers today is fair

ferdinand was cheering on nthe hammers at the cup final against lpool and nearly got @#%&!ted .. what a shame it was only nearly ..#@&%!heads comparing that wgt @#%&! to scholesy want £#%&!ing
