If he starts the season like he ended the last, we are going to look utterly stupid as usual.

Let's hope the deal settles his head down. Presumably Ole happy with how he's looking in training etc.

Deal would take him to 13 years service

He's the new Rooney. Last player standing with a link to the glory days who isn't utter shit.

He's our Buffon. We're old news.

If Pogba was staying, he'd be Capt.

Good

Nice to see a pay rise that has actually been earned down the years.

He has his flaws, but lets not pretend he isn't one of our best players and one of the best keepers in the world.

I reckon this is all done and it is being delayed so that it can be used as 'good' news to placate fans when no more signings are complete.

Six year contract.

If he has a season like the back of last season ended, will be another player stuck on silly wages we can't get rid of.

Classic Woody.

last season was the exception to the rule.

not worth the kind of wages touted, but actually in the interest of stability, it's probably the right move. not our money and all that. and he's still young in GK terms

Simon Jordan criticising the club because we don't want the 'problem' of letting him go. Well no shit Prior to last season which could have been down to any number of reasons (not least because we were absolute dog shit for most of it) he was rightly considered the world's best.

Can only imagine the uproar if we lost Pogba and Dave in the same summer etc.

I don't have any issue with the wages offered it's the length of the contract which I think is a little off. I think Simon Jordan called it 'lazy' on the clubs part and said he had the form of a relegated side's keeper last year.
