Bloody love a short term loan do Scandanavian clubs, bloody love em.

what happens if the new manager takes a totally different approach to ole, then we waste another season . what happens with player recruitment in regards to January and next season?

we aren't some Sunday league outfit like billericay fc who can just hire a 'caretaker' for six months.....

plus its an inexperienced manager who hasn't never managed a club of this magnitude... its like if the scouser hired Gerrard or if arsenal put tony Adams in charge....
its sounds romantic but it just shows how £#%&!ed up things upstairs at the club.
Cardiff sacked the guy last year for not being good enough in both the premiership and the championship...yet somehow he is what Manchester United need.... seriously......
Or Chelsea.

Pretty sure that Sunday league club Chelsea managed to win the Champions League when he, as a former player, was appointed as caretaker...

Manchester United's major problem this season has been a major lack of belief, enthusiasm and any sort of confidence. Let's not forget, we still have some absolutely top top players.

What's needed is someone to come in and lift the place in the short term and most importantly someone who would never ever put himself before the club and be an example to those in the dressing room. The antics have to stop, the constantly negative headlines have to stop and the constant leaks from within the club have to stop.

Solskjaer will instantly have the backing of everyone at the club. There won't be any 'bedding in' or 'getting to know'. Everyone from the car park security to the tea ladies will know him and he's a club icon.

In short...

YOU ARE MY SOLSKJAER
got a little tear in my eye reading that...

you cabbie @#%&! etc.

also not to say that he's going to pull up any trees but people should remember that cardiff were bottom when he took over in January 2014 and everyone recognised that appointment was a poisoned chalice.

also i think molde hadn't won the league in 100 years before he took over and he's won them 3 leagues and a double I think.

His Molde team were the highest scorers in the league last season and probably the most entertaining team in the league.

I think a new manager bounce is inevitable. Set up that way with the fixtures coming up.

If we cut the gap from 11 to 6/5 come January then we've got a chance at 4th.

Alexis will be like a new signing. I suspect Bailly will be first choice again and back with confidence. Don't even think we need to spend in january. We all know who needs £#%&!ing off next summer. 5 years running now. Surely they can't all survive again: Jones, Young, Valencia, Smalling.

One's already sneaked a 5 year deal so not looking great already.

Also, smart young managers learn from failure. Failing can be a positive experience if it helps you grow.

It's also just a completely different job with completely different requirements. Hopefully this one suits him much better.

exactly this.

plenty of reasons why moyes, lvg and jose all failed at united, but one factor which applies to all three is that none of them could command the respect of the whole squad.

hopefully ole can do that with just his name alone.
