Don't want another footy pseud taking over.

Honestly would take Harry Redknapp over Pep. We'd also 100% win the league with him. Unsure about him in Europe though.

Who out there is qualified to take over after van gaal?

Personally I'd have Ancelotti.

Should have been ancelotti after Fergie. After Van Gaal who knows, it's £#%&!ing weird talking about next managers with United. Van Gaal certainly needs to step it up though.

Will be guardiola. Has to be. Lvg to leave in 2017.
Pep to leave bayern next summmer and take a year off.
He can then say he managed the three biggest clubs in the three highest profile leagues.

He likes United, also. Given the choice you suspect he would take another sabbatical to wait for us.

LvG to Pep is the intelligent move. A switch from what LvG has started to an Ancelotti or someone of the like would suggest the club has utterly missed the point of what they hired van Gaal to do. Pep has managed to transfer his style to Bayern and German football, would be interesting to see him in England. He'll know from watching LvG how big a challenge it is. Pep at United is just though
