Default So apparently United agreed to sell Ronaldo on 8th December 2008?

And he turned down Barca and Inter?

Well it matters in that David Gill was interviewed on Sportsweek some time around March/April 2009 and said categorically that we wouldn't be selling Ronaldo.

He looked like a big enough @#%&! when we sold him 2 months later, but if the agreement was already in place it puts an entirely different slant on it.

But you'll be pleased to know that he recently stated, categorically, that Rooney would not be sold in the summer...

does this really matter anymore?

we all knew he was going.

do you think Gill is going to say mid season that he's leaving? (like when Hughes went to Barcelona?)

the club, glazers, gill, fergie, bobby, will tell the fans anything to keep them quiet.

i thought everyone knew this?

nft.
