It's a great hangover cure.

Replaces all the sugar you lose when breaking down the alcohol (I think that's how it works).

Irn Bru or Lucozade original.

sugar; your blood sugars go through the floor and hence you need to restock on the carbohydrates.... as a consequence as soon as you've drank it you feel full of life again...

Am aware of that but I only crave Iron Brew and nothing else why not Lemonade, Tango, Dandelion & Burdock or a sugary brew?

Sugar. If you drink a lot of beer, cider or lager it makes your blood glucose level shoot up and when it starts falling fast you crave more sugar to raise it....and on it goes,up and down, boom and bust.

EDIT: Oh shit,what ElHombre said.

Not really as I don't really go for fizzy pop normally apart from D&B which is the bestest drink ever. Vimto or water for me normally.

Have you ever looked at a large tree and thought "I'd really like to pick that up and throw it"?

When England are playing, do you feel a strange sense of indifference or even revulsion towards the fans and players?

I do feel indifferent about the National side. My god you're like Derek Acorah but without the whole 'Homosexual Scouse Con Man' vibe.
