How did Maguire do? Only watched highlights and they included him being about six feet behind the Italian player who should have scored.

he was average. nothing good but nothing bad. The pace of international football suits him so well. its why it excels at internationals. the whole game was a bit shit. no tempo, pragmatic approach.

Yeah I was thinking that myself. The standard at the euros at best is lower half PL. Of course he and Shaw look like world beaters.
