Matty Cash

Pretty sure he tried to throw in a dag with a curpet I bought from him a few years ago.

Good half

Can’t learn much from playing on a pitch like that and in the conditions at the end of the half but still nice to see us dominate a decent PL side and have a deserved 2 nil lead

Sancho and Martial have been good again
Bruno a bit up and down and Rashford has been very loose
Best Shaw has played all tour and Fred was excellent also

Now take all our main players off as this pitch is only going to get worse if it even can carry on

Erik has got a extra 10% from all the players but we know with this squad that won’t be enough, some need to be shipped out and the team freshened up

just need a competent fast forward and we can have a decent season.

might be overcooking it but our squad is not as bad or not looking as bad as i thought it was.

but then that’s what a manager is meant to do. improve the team and make them better than they are collectively.

Management isn’t about nicknames and smiles.

That Shaw goal all started from a pass from De Gea to Maguire

Like finishing 3rd and 2nd getting to numerous semi-finals and a European final, that sort of thing?

Next season. Still too much shite for him to deal with in this squad.

I've seen enough already to know this is finally our guy though.

So basically all the work the Glazers and Woodward have done has been bang on, we just needed a decent manager

I'm not getting carried away with all this - it's good, don't get me wrong but it's a world of difference playing miles away from home with no real supporters there. We all saw how good they looked during covid lockdown

The acid test for this bunch will be playing in front of an expectant old trafford crowd with all the pressure that brings against highly motivated opponents.

I fully expect us to lose one or two of the first 10 games and the usual hysteria to start. We won't get into any sort of stride until winter i reckon. Then we'll be off to the world cup
