Bore-nmouth. An apt name for Van Gaal's last league game. Can't see City not winning, but hoping for an edgy 1-0 at best on the off chance. Just hope it doesn't save his job and there's a continual rendition of 'he scores goals, m'lord...he scores goals'.

I have confidence in the shitness of City, and to be fair Swansea are a decent side at home.

Guardiola will be very nervous.

Swansea will lead for most of the game only for City to equalise

A channel 5 remake of final day 2012 coming up

Hope we at least win comfortably for a confidence boost before the cup final

just noticed this is on sky 1 ffs

constantly cutting away and banging on about all the other games, it's gonna be an interactive live TV abomination of a £#%&!ing broadcast

even with shitty in the box seat they still can't get top billing ahead of us on sky in a 4th & 5th placed shoot-out.

bet motd will do that chopping the highlights up between the games yet again that worked so well for them once in 1995.

Why are you building your hopes up lads?

Swansea are on holiday, city will be 2 up within half an hour and cruise through to the final whistle.

We;ve had our chances but £#%&!ed em up. Looking forward to playing Dynamo Midlesovnowhereski in September nqat.

don't you have to go through the formalities of finishing 3rd in your group first?

2-0 United

Crowd shots of middle aged men in polyester United shirts looking at their stupid phones and looking glum as news of city's third comes through

" news from Swansea...the final nail in uniteds season ?"

" yes Martin, but you've got to say this young United squad will bounce back"

An utter nothing match - flat atmosphere and incredibly sterile football. Zzzxxxxxx. Like most of our home matches. We'll squeeze 1 past them.

On the plus side, we're hopefully no more than one more game away from the end of van gaal's shambolic reign.
