I don't know how much Spurs are paying for him but if United paid the £10m the newspapers said he would cost then I'd be sickened.
£18m for Carrick or £17m for Hargreaves is one thing, those players are needed and are potentially vital to United's future. £10m for an 18year old herman munster left back is a joke. |

According to a mate of mine who has the pleasure of being a Saints season ticket holder Bale certainly hasn't been shit hot this season. Drifts in and out of games, quite composed on the ball but is very one paced for a defender. Caught out of position fair bit.
Credit where credit's due he's got a good left foot. Tbh I don't think he's anywhere near ready for Utd and I very much doubt he'd come and park his arse on the bench. Oh and against Saints this season, Simpson had Bale in his pocket and never gave the lad a kick. |
