I love the fact that some want us to piss away money we don't have on every random "star" that crops up in the Premiership/Championship/Dutch League.

Seen £#%&! all from Bale yet to convince me he's any good as a full back. Like Whalefish mentions, our own Simpson destroyed him in the league game and Evans is performing at left back at international level.

We seem to be imagining that every kid coming through the ranks now is another O'Shea, Richardson or Fletcher.

Well they make the first team and remain in the squad. None of these other "stars" have.

Just because they play for us, don't mean they can do a job.
