Would make a massive difference nqat

We need a bit more depth too though imo.

Yes but a traditional 9 would also do it.

Seriously - a Kevin Davies would pose so many questions, opposition defenders would be spinning around like Kylie on the teacups ride.

Someone who can put himself about a bit in the box.

Nah. Been surprised with how ordinary we’ve made Spurs and Chelsea look but we’re some way off the berts. Liverpool in previous seasons would beat us too. Perhaps irrelevant now.

Don’t think we’re that far off and it’s testament to ten hag that we should finish top 4 now - possibly 2nd or 3rd. Still need more quality throughout to have a real go - upfront especially.

I do think we’ll get better though and it’s all about momentum.

Would love to play city again right now….

If it's Haaland there's an outside chance.

Suppose - taking him out of the city team would help in a 6 point sense. Wish they’d got Kane nqat.

Toney or Mitrovic in January and a big dog in the summer.

They both offer different things of course but we need something up there.

They’d command huge fees and we just don’t have it/aren’t willing to spend it. A loan or oldie if Ronaldo leaves.

Still think we struggle for top 4 tbh.

First XI is decent and solid. Lacks goals. Back up crew are all right defensively, £#%&!ing shocking in attack and midfield. Not enough goals in the squad, there will be periods they all have a little purple patch, nobody is getting goals regularly in this squad though.

They’d cost ‘big dog’ fees, so what’s the point.

They won’t buy anyone in Jan ‘concentrating on the summer window..’ which is code for ‘we’re skint’*

*Glazers have other plans for the credit.

I’m not talking from a financial perspective, purely on having the right options up front.

If you look at the other teams we’re competing with for top four, their back
Up options are no better. Spurs have some carthorses in their team. Liverpool brought on Oxlaide Chamberlain and Henderson to rescue the game today. Chelsea start players like Loftus Cheek and that hapless keeper. Arsenal are….Arsenal.

We have problems, but so does everyone else bar City.

I think we’ll be up there. Mainly because we’re starting to look well coached and dominating teams. Our shortcomings will bite us in the arse and there’s probably 6 or 7 teams that will feel confident they can get top three. I think we’re one of them and that represents progress for now.

Jonathon David or Cody Gapko, would be immense.

Only disclaimer is I haven’t seen either of them play football.

Glazers will take out loans against the club. They know noise will drop if United get it together.

Get rid of Ronaldo that’s 400-500k a week wages

Roughly 13 million there.

Or do a loan to buy. The snidey European clubs do it all the time to avoid FFP.

Loan a player with obligation to buy in a years time

Toney would be good but his England tax you’re probably looking at 60-70 mill minimum .

Tapping up mitrovic for about 25-30 mill. Get him to put a transfer request in etc etc and then sign that main big striker in summer seems safer. Plus then there’s a bit more depth on attacking options

Edit. Just googled and he has 4 years on his contract left. He’s going to be expensive too. Over to the scouts to uncover a hidden gem

We need two, as none at the club can currently be relied upon.
