good couple of opponents for ole. can still see the deficiencies. but at least it is fun to watch, with moments of frustration at the odd casual bit of play, rather than frustration with the way we play. the number of men we get in the box.... jose would never have allowed it.

Boxing day lethargic displays aside it was a solid win......

Rashford and Pogba class, Mata looking like a Ayer without fellaini and the lump around him...nice for Gomes to get on..

Decent enough game but we struggled in the 2nd half.

Clear we still can’t keep up that work rate for 90 mins.

Martial a huge miss.

Not a great performance in terms of the game flowing, but the simple truth about this league is that if you keep trying to force the game, commit numbers forward you will get your rewards. It involves taking some risks, but Ole implicitly understands that the gains possible are worth taking a few given the nature of most of the opposition.

Missed Martial and a little frustrating that we struggled to get the ball to Gomez late on but it feels more like a Utd moving in the correct direction already.

Matic much better today, Jones had an excellent game, Pogba the stand out.

Another positive performance and win.

As we know, the problems with the squad aren't going away any time soon, but we're playing with purpose and intensity again.

We missed Martial and some variation up front today.... but it's so good to see the players playing positively again.
