At the moment the downside to replacing him with Henderson is small while the potential upside is huge.

Agreed.

Funds made from selling De Gea and freeing up his contract can be used to strengthen more areas as well.

In his first season, but then he became a very good shot stopper ...

One of the weakest keepers in control of his box at the top level though, also horrific with feet and on pens.

Is he mute also ?

While he was pulling off magnificent saves to keep us in matches it was convenient not to look too closely on the other aspects of a goalkeeper’s role; it’s no longer in our best interests to do that.

He's on the highest wage outside of Sanchez. We've got Rooney in goal. We'll never get rid now.

Unless PSG need a keeper, we won’t be moving him on on a 400k per week contract without eating most of it, and even if we could it would be for a pittance.

Why on earth would PSG want to sign him? He's a clown.

Outright replacement might still be too soon, but that Dave needs some serious competition for his place (Romero, with respect, isn't that) must be fairly indisputable now.

Reader mode on your phone/ipad makes it a lot easier to read.

Awful website. Mirror’s even worse. They won’t be happy until they have a one inch by one square showing the story that flashes subliminal ads.
