He’s always miles away giving them free reign to bang in inch perfect crosses. Brandon is right at their feet closing down the space.

Presume it’s because fatty knows he so slow so has to give himself 3 yards.

Really would £#%&! Shaw off. He’s a liability. How on earth can he still be so £#%&!ing fat? Defo need another CB as well. Lindelof looks and plays like a middle aged woman.
He was and that hold up play in their box that set up Rashford was brilliant, as was his goal obvs but aside from that he also kept working his %@#$&!s off

Hopefully the penny has dropped and he keeps to this standard.

Shaw is shite, sooner we sell him the better. Williams at 19? Is already a better player imo.

The most frustrating aspect of it is that we don't see it coming. It's a big feature of Southampton's game. Ole even pointed out how hard they work, in public, days before.

No matter how many times Pogba does that, he always seems surprised that it's happening.

We have to adapt quicker.

At the end of the day, it's hardly £#%&!ing rocket science. It's a player running quickly towards you. Just be aware of it and composed enough to find your mates.
Mate, a bunch of mugs sitting on a settee and posting on a football forum should not know things that an experienced 400 game veteran doesn’t - like what constitutes a suicide ball for example.

So since last night we’re poor in defence yet think we’ve let like 6 or 7 goals in last 18 games. Can’t beat press which we’ve started to do a lot , are scoring lots , the manager has no idea. This whilst praying for a manager who’s never won anything constantly failed with the best group around , and yearn for a washed up manager , who’s best days are behind him. All whilst there own team have gone 18 unbeaten , playing great football , but apparently we don’t have formations or ideas as the manager just wings it. Absolute @#%&!s Utd fans desperate for us to loss ( we didn’t ). So they can somehow pull out war and peace posts whilst eating tesco meal deals in there £#%&!ing cab.

Another issue is that both the players giving these passes and the ones receiving them are just as daft as each other.

Stupid ball from De Gea....to the dawdliest player he could pick.

Hard to disagree, really. In particular he seems to have picked up waiting too long to do subs from his "mentor".

And despite our good run recently, we are still too profligate in front of goal. That was always going to come back to bite us sooner or later if it continued.

What struck me is Pogba made one mistake and then he fell to pieces. Never recovered from it. He shouldn't be making the mistake but it should be water off a duck's arse when he does.

Tbh, I think it was more just a case that he didn't play well in general.

He's made mistakes like that plenty in the past and gone on to influence the games.

For all his faults, he doesn't change the way he plays and keeps trying to make things happen.

Why is he trying to make things happen from DM though? Either play 4-3-3 or don't play him.

Especially against shite teams like Southampton.

He’s mentally fragile. Keane is getting dogs abuse atm, but he’s spot on - Pogba has zero interest in being a leader outside of best instagram dances. That doesn’t mean he can’t be a match winner or world class on a single given day, simply that he clearly doesn’t want the pressure of having to be.

It's what he does. He won't change. It has it's benefits when he does it and takes two or three out the game.

The point was more that he doesn't shrink. £#%&! up and infuriate, sure, but he keeps trying things.

It's where he's played. If you want to play 2 x DM play Fred or The Scottish Player. Playing Pogba back there is mental.

Been working fine the last few games. We just run the risk of him being dispossessed in those areas.

Whoever is in there, we need to deal better with being pressed high up the pitch, as a team.
