Except we’ve lost our hair, put three stone on then finally we’ve decided to go to the gym now we might have a chance with her again?

Exactly. He may now have a chuff like a wizard’s sleeve in Mr Ed’s analogy, but we’re now sporting a dad bod and cash flow issues.

"the new United transfer policy is signing mid 20s players on upward trajectories"

Still annoyed the way he celebrated his juve goal

Let's move on.

He'd score 20 goals in the PL well into his 40s, maybe even his 50s.

The greatest footballer that has ever existed

There's coming to terms with what you've become versus still being fussy. It describes half the blokes in most Manchester pubs.

I think he could go on to 40 definitely, but lets not get carried away.

If he’d come back after he’d got the Madrid record, he would have had time to pass Rooney too.

42 but he was well down the divisions by then. Think Giggs was older for last top flight appearance.

edit: no he wasn't, Sheringham was 40 when he played his last top flight match and that's the record in England.

Sheringham played a slower game, a 2nd striker, & was great with his back to goal. Plus he was a physically strong player.

I met him once and he was a tall unit.

I do think Ronnie could do a similar role

Ronaldo would do more in a year, at 35, than Pogba has done since he arrived.
