I’ve read this a few times. You told your mate to place a bet that city will win 4-0.

At 3-0 Chelsea were on top in the game, you tell your mate you’re thinking of cashing out , but Chelsea then give a penalty away to city .

Why the “£#%&!ing @#%&!s”? Surely you want the penalty to be given so city score their 4th and you win your bet?

Oh right. Thought he was arguing with you that he wouldn’t cash out if they’re at 3-0 . You then misread it as he was claiming to cash out on the penalty when it’s not possible.

I misread his post , he cashed out then the penalty was given.

I don’t gamble, but if it had finished 3-0 would he still have won the £40? In which case he should have just left it .
