f*** jeans i'm all in on cargo joggers for the duration of the plague

Plethora of decent pockets , extremely comfortable and yet still observant of society's norms when popping to the 24 hour garage for some cigs

Thumbs down

Most overrated clobber out there. Uncomfortable, rigid, restraining.

Dreading the day I've got to wear my next pair. The shorts/joggers/perma-pyjama life is levels above.

Used to wear them all the time, hardly ever do so now. Is it just an age thing?

Got some APC New Standard before Christmas. All the cool cats are buying Orslow or Maharishi style efforts these days but I donít jive. Lifeís too short for snide jeans but you canít be cutting about in keks that cost more than a half decent TV.

Chinos, lads.

Comfort, varying cloth weights, smart yet casual.

The answer.

The answer.

Yup, far more comfortable than jeans and with a stylish cut appropriate for work or the more casual evening.

I only ever buy Diesel or Paul Smith, good quality soft denim and none of that skinny or tapered fit balls!

Talking

It's truly glorious to see everyone on here grow old together.

The fitness thread becoming the gardening and walking thread.
The shoe thread turning into a celebration of the comfort of Crocs and socks.
The Jean thread turning into the chino and elasticated waist jogger thread.

Donít you have a 30 inch waist? Can only imagine your twig legs get drowned out in a sea of denim. Nothing wrong with tapered if you train legs; behold my muscly hamstrings ladies

Replay jeans are where itís at for the hoss. They add a little stretchy material these days so they are proper comfy - a bit like jeggins.

Iím not selling them very well am I?

Wore jeans when it was snowing last week and had to nip out though.

I have a pair of Uniqlo jeans that I walk the dogs in. Irk sent them me after they'd shrunk in the wash. Perfect for my little gibbon legs.

Now I'm too skinny for them, and they're designed in such a way that a belt won't hold them up?? ****ers.

Chinos can be bought from anywhere and come in various cuts. The fashion is to go tapered half mast and wear them with winter boots or summer loafers. Not for me.

Gap or Next a good shout.

Is it possible to design jeans that canít be held up by a belt? Unless thereís nothing to loop the belt through, surely once itís tightened the jeans are staying put?

Canít do chinos personally - reminds me too much of when everyone my age was into skins and being ďrandomĒ was deemed a legitimate personality trait.
