depends on you mate. that's why i haven't said i'm going to go x amount of time without having a drink because it just puts unnecessary pressure on. if i know i can have one if i want one on a saturday, that's enough for me, but everyone is different.

well done dunk. great effort that

The only thing I find helps (short of stopping early) is a pint of water and 2 paracetamols just before bed. Seems to knock the edge of the hangover.

Stop at a bottle; once I drink a second bottle it feels like my world is ending the next day.

And I turn in to an absolute b*****d once the 2nd one gets cracked.

Had a shite week last week so have drank every night since Wednesday when the derby was on. Including tonight.

Normality tomorrow and been and bought healthy food etc today. I'll nail it now. Cutting it right down. Will do similar to what duckers is doing.

The old demons creep back in easily.

I think half the world will be drinking a bit too much atm what with everything weíre facing.

At least weíve got each other for moderation and support away from the judge women in our lives

Duckers is bang on regarding the pressure. If I say I'm
not having any for a length of time it stresses me out.

I'm just gonna see how I get on. If I want one I'll have one. I can easily do it but it's that pressure

It is. Apart from not sleeping itís been easy so far. And yes itís so easy to go from a casual beer after work to a serious problem. So far so good though.

cutting down is definitely the way forward.
Definitely. Learn to moderate rather than deprive. Much better in the longer term. For health as well as for sanity.
