Had a roast chicken. Roast potatoes, peas and tenderstem 'brocolli.'

I never knew tenderstem is a trademark.
https://www.tenderstem.co.uk/

What is Broccolini and How Is It Used?
https://www.thespruceeats.com/what-i...roccoli-435435
Bimi, broccolini, and Tenderstem are trademarked names for the hybrid. It's primarily grown in Mexico, California, and Arizona. Broccolini is similar in appearance to broccoli in that it is made up of a green stem topped with florets. Where the broccoli stem can be very thick and tough, the stem of broccolini is thin and tender.

I notice my stuff came from Spain Was nice tbf

Looks lovely.

Is that 1 order of poppadoms or 2? Loads of places over here give you 2 or 3 as an order. Disgrace. Absolutely love poppadoms.

Raymond Blanc's tarragon chicken fricassee with sauteed potatoes.
Fantastic.

Had frozen donner meat (Lidl's) with potato waffles and beans two days ago.

Need a better routine...

just had a nice sandwich from the roast earlier. Almost killed the cat. Knocked the knife off the counter as he was eating below me. Would've struggled to explain that tbh

Still eat the same old butchered shite I've always done. Had steamed microwave vegetables for tea but f***ed taco sauce and peperoni slices on top of them.

Absolutely vile it was. Vile.

Had a Tesco curry the other night that was four days past its sell by. Tasted fine to me.

Sell by dates aren't necessarily the same as *use* by dates - its the latter you really need to look out for.

Realise I'm in tentative ground here, but peas have no place in a roast. Little green bastards
