to ASOS.... online only

2500 jobs down the swanny... Hopefully the Green's will have to downsize to a 300FT yacht.

Covid and general decline but also complete mismanagement by Green who couldn't take them online. Obviously siphoned off what he wanted from these brands and has thrown the rest away!

I've got a severe dislike for the Green's. Just look at the smarm on their faces.

I can kind of see the high street rebounding. Going to the shops is my main hobby these days and I'd love to be able to go to different ones.

Need smaller niche shops on low rents to enable start ups - spaces for artists and craftspeople not these huge crappy shops selling cheap crappy clothes made in sweat shops.

Put in green requirements around sustainability..

to some extent. but not everyone wants to buy drift wood dreamcatchers.

im in big favour of buying from decent local smaller chains and shops.

There are all sorts of ways high street space could be used creatively, rapacious asset stripping landlords permitting.

Had a Saturday job in the top shop that used to be above top man at the bottom of market street back around 84/85, not sure I can post any of the stories from there without getting arrested

also met Phillip Green several times when he used to frequent a casino I worked in.....he's even more of a ****er than he looks.
