You’d hope that he wouldn’t be starting games if his intentions are to run his contract down and sign pre contract with someone in January.

Would be even more evidence of how poorly we’re run, but so would giving him 350k a week tbh...

So absolutely everything is evidence of how badly we are run as a club?

I'd sell him and would've sold him in July, but as there is no prospect of a replacement, better to keep him and play him as Romero is shit.

Hopefully next summer Henderson returns ready to pick up the mantle

That good he's rotting on our bench and not a single club in the whole World has been arsed enough to try and get him...

Agreed on Oblak. Would've even offered Atletico a swap, would work for DdG as well that, back to Madrid to a side competing etc.

Apparently he’s rejected the latest contract offer and wants to leave on a free next summer (probably Juve)

If true he should be dropped and Romero should be first choice until Henderson comes back.

More like United have lowballed him and he’s told them to £#%&! off.

But yeah, throw Romero in net who is dogshit.

Can't blame him tbf.

Longer term may actually be in both parties' interests...maybe

Romero is one of the best no 2 keepers we've had.

He should be nowhere near the number one shirt.

Feels like De Gea won't reach much less surpass his previous level with us so it's probably best he leaves, can't blame him for losing motivation in a team that would do well to hit 4th.

Could have lived with Romero for a season if we had cashed in on De Gea over the summer but Ed gona Ed so De Gea will leave on a free next summer and then we'll be stuck Romero as a number 1 because it's the cheap option.

From memory it’s only Koppas and Bunks. Bunks is being bunks and Koppas is being Koppas, motwyw.

Keepers don't seem to maintain much consistency these days. Only one I can think of in recent years is Buffon, only age has seen him decline. Neuer was everyone's favourite GK at one point yet whenever I see him he lets a clanger in. If De Gea goes I'm not sure how we improve on him with the options out there.
