We’ve a long enough look at this kid by now to say with some confidence that the following is true:

He’s technically very good, but his work rate is at least suspect.
He often doesn’t appear fully committed and appears to sulk quite a bit.
He will have some very good games, but also plenty of stinkers.
He plays roughly 29 league games per season for an average of little more than 8 goals.

Is this what we want in a forward?

No, we want someone who tries week in, week out and has talent enough that the effort put in will bring rewards.
