Kroos wouldn't have come here ahead of Real Madrid when we'd just finished 7th. I suspect the Big Man knew that.

I actually think Fabregas is the more realistic one that could have helped him. He was so good for Chelsea in that first season under Mou. Would have helped our style much more. Probably already signed with Chelsea by the time we binned Moyes.
