Default why do all italian national teams play in blue ?

Whatever the sport.....when their flag is green white n red .....

Most countries reflect their flag colours.....

Germany play in white a lot and have no white in their flag either......

Royal colour is right; the unification is the current tricolour flag

And just reading related, Germany play in green away (as thanks) because only Ireland agreed to play them after the world war when they were a pariah nation.

think that's an urban myth. green is the colour of the german FA, and they adopted it in 1926. apparently switzerland was the only country that would go near them after the war.

their white kits are derived from the prussian flag.
