Yep, probably because De Gea's distribution is so good it makes him look average compared to him.
Apparently Lindegaard was the stand out in training in the summer. Although De Gea did join later in the us tour.

I was very impressed with Big Linda last night. Very solid. Two fine saves and dealt with everyone confidently and decisively. My concern is the lad might be a little too good to be a number two and will want regular first team action.

It's always a tricky balancing act because you want a keeper of a certain standard, but if they are of that standard then they're probably good enough to be number one elsewhere.

I reckon we'll see a fair bit of him this season though. I think he'll play all the FA Cup games, maybe all these CL games and a handful of PL games when De Gea needs a rest.

A nice problem to have, I suppose.
