Was always going to be a problem if one of Rashford or Martial got an injury.

Dont 21 ffs me, pal. We're allowed to assess performance. It isnt a get out clause.
We’ll assess it on the basis that not so long ago he was brilliant, scoring and terrorising defences, now he’s getting in the right places but not doing the right thing, at a time when the whole team is struggling from an attacking POV. Certainly enough there to point to mitigating factors and not enough to determine he’s shite. At 21. Ffs.

Yep.

All our games have been nip and tuck.

Little good spells here and there, then we fade. Struggle for goals, struggle for clean sheets

Like an average - above average team.

I do believe we're on the right path, but we're some way off.

And here we go...after a promise spell, we'll now be hoping we can get to HT intact.

So much for being a lot more fitter this season.

Just said the same on Sky.

Again it points towards how stupid a decision it is going into a season with only two senior strikers.

He looked in pain to me, think he’s carrying something but being forced to play (again) because we haven’t got any options.

Was always the risk when we gambled on going in to the season this light up front.

I'm not sure I agree with your assessment of the level he was at (brilliant) or how long this form has been going on (not so long ago...February of last season, perhaps?)

I'm not saying he's shite, but we should be able to consider the possibility that he isnt doing well and needs to do more without simply screaming his age as a defence.

He's a big boy, he isn't made of glass.

We need more from him.

And that’ll be that then.

No surprise really.

We’ve switched the full backs around again too?
