If we can get him in on loan from his new club, maybe.

Thumbs down

If shaw is still injured then I can see Rojo at left back and Young at RB...

Rojo came to the club as a lb, no? I truly can’t remember.

We still have Dalot (don't we )

He can play right back and Young can continue to fill in at left back.

I think he’s injured too?

Played left back for Argentina in the WC final iirc and I’m pretty sure he started out life here there too.

Wasn’t Lindelof sometimes a right back at Benfica?
Keeps him out of the way of headers at least

OK, snided him for his attacking quality but defensively this lad is a machine.

Nev laughably suggested first half that Sterling was giving him a hard time. Was he £#%&! 😎

Thumbs up

Love him. Can't remember the last time I saw a player so good at a slide tackle. This lad wins the ball every time.

Need to see more from in the final third, but he's a monster defensively, and just what we needed to add some solidity at the back.

Nice to have a full-back that is an automatic pick every week. Dalot probably needs to start looking for a new club if he wants to be a starter.

He did get skinned a couple of times by Sterling early doors.

His second half performance was epic.

He's got good feet and should improve up front. Lou mentioned that he probably hasn't had that much practice coming from Palace. Maybe he's just lacking confidence.

Huge potential.

I agree. Not trying to be dramatic, but I’m struggling to remember a better timed tackler than this guy. I really hope he works on the other side of his game, because he could really be best in class.
