Just how bloody shocking they can be and that it's still remotely relevant?

Or that we should sign Scotty Parker.

Think you'll find that was Wonky's point of view years ago, pal.

It was in RedIssue back in the days I bought it.

bad darts imho - having a dig at the grief junkie element is one thing, ok, but to to actually have the guys picture on the front cover, when he's lying on the ground, practically dead, and making light of the situation, just aint right.

he didn't die ffs and the cover was mocking people's response, not the event.

the whole thing has been a parade of hypocritical self-congratulatory bullshit, as is the OUTRAGE about the cover. i'm no fan of ri but they got this one right.

I thought the cover was funny. The best bit was the response after it; well thought out and pulling no punches

excellent on both counts

Still don't think using the picture of him in cardiac arrest on the pitch was needed tbh.

Yeah, I suppose. They probably should have done it using a picture of all the tributes left outside the ground. Same impact, less controversial.

That's just a question of taste innit. I think it was probbly the best way to make the point, not like that picture hasn't been shown on half the news broadcasts in this country over the last few weeks.

If they wanted to say something that nobody noticed then yep, probably not worth trying to get a rise out of anyone and just going with a front cover of a picture of some rainbows or flowers or fairies or some other shit
