2nd half the players and coaching staff shit the bed a bit
Yes we have a lead to hold onto but you have to continue to be brave and play football
We stopped playing football 2nd half

Unfortunately don’t think this game counts for anything going forward
Just a one off type of game
We’ll be expected to make the game and create chances in upcoming matches and as we know that’s our problem
Fair. I was happy with the first half but agree we did shit it a bit second half. Step by step and all that but in our pomp that second-half surrender would have been criminal.

Kicking on is the big question. Don't want to become a raise our game for Liverpool shabmles

I think that's what we are right now. A team that showed heart (for 60 mins at least). Be surprised if we see similar effort when it's not Liverpool at home.

The encouragement makes the Norwich game more significant.

If we can carry some confidence from this in to that game, win, get that away day £#%&!ing gorilla off our back, then that's more progress and we can hopefully start looking up

Lose and it's right back to square one.

I don't think work rate has been an issue this season tbh.

Confidence, belief and quality has been an issue.

We simply played much better yesterday. We attacked quicker, more directly and created more promising openings against the best defence in the league than we have done in weeks.

Rashford was considerably better after he scored too. Him and James were a genuine threat all game.

We need more of that and we need more from Martial now we're back.

We have some good attacking players. It's easy to forget that in recent weeks.

Patience - we’ll need loads more of it but we’re making positive steps. Need a still need a stronger core of players who are all mentally stronger and can pull us up when our confidence is low.

More of this please. I'd play the same front 3 on Wednesday. Try and get some confidence and form going.

We will be doing very well if we get through that, especially given our recent penalty record

Agreed. Matic, Lingard, Jones, Mata and the rest can be filled with youth players. If we get beat then so be it, we can't risk this starting 11 for the League Cup.
