Going to be a few more years of this. Until woodward leaves nothing will change.

Just hope ole manages to form a foundation before woodward throws him under a bus

Ryan Fraser could be available on a free in the summer too, he could add depth to squad and still only 25 (26 in February).
Yeah why not. Any other unbelievably average players we can sign? Maybe Calvert-Lewin? Ward-Prowse? Grealish?

Why are we being linked with these utter shitbags. I don't care how shit our current squad is. Being linked to the kind of players that belong in mid table clubs, isn't what the supposed 'biggest club in the world' should be ever doing!
However, until those American parasites get out of this club, we probably can't expect to get anything better than this. It's just embarrassing, and we're seeing a club legend in Ole getting destroyed week after week. It's disgraceful.

We need attainable players that are better than what we have.*

We can’t afford Mbappe, for example, and he wouldn’t come anyway. Think some fans need to re-asses expectations.

*not that I’m condoning the signing of these 2 in particular.

Because we’re not the biggest club in the world and the best players in the world aren’t going to want to come here at this particular moment

Signing players that have proven they’re ready for the next step up could be the way forward and better than the ‘plastic galactico’ strategy we’ve had over the last few years, especially if we can get them on free allowing us to spread our budget further because we need at least 4 players signed in the summer.

But yeah, let’s call any player that doesn’t play in champions league unbelievably average and sign more Freds and Rojos..

I'm not saying that at all. They don't have to play in the CL, but they have to be good players at the very least, with potential to be great players, otherwise what's the point? Callum Wilson and
Ryan Fraser should never ever be considered potential Utd signings.

Why shouldn’t they?

Fraser has been a very good player for a couple of seasons now and is the type of signing that Liverpool have made while they’ve been rebuilding.

If we can get a good player like him on a free to add much needed depth and it spreads our budget further meaning we get a couple of midfielders, forward, left back etc then we’d be mad not to go for it imo.

But because his name is Ryan Fraser and he plays for Bournemouth it automatically means he isn’t good enough. That’s the kind of thinking that’s meant we’ve missed out on some very good players over the years while we over spend on the likes of Di Maria, Sanchez, Lukaku etc.

7 goals and 14 assists for Fraser last season btw.

Unfortunately they would see Fraser as being the midfielder needed, and use the money saved to cover a dividend or loan payment.

Whilst there is plenty wrong on the football side of the club, it is the Glazers and their puppets in Woodward and Murtargh that are the real problem.

Until we get rid of them we will perpetually exist as another Everton. Let's be honest, at the moment we can only aspire to be Wolves or Leicester.

So united have only ever been linked with and signed big names? You must have been disappointed at the majority of fergie’s signings.

If impatience over short term results dominate thinking and behaviour, then yes.

Good player that Fraser tbf. Would defo take him, particularly on a free.

Our fans would have scoffed at Robertson, nqat.

Signing players like Rice, Sancho, Fraser, Chillwell, Haaland, Werner, Havertz, Neres etc would get United back to the top. But we'd have to be resolute for the next 2-3 years as a platform for success is built and these types of players are signed. IF indeed there is absolutely any intention or ambition to do this which is highly questionable. It really isn't rocket science.

My only glimmer of hope is the 3 signings we made this summer. They are the right profile of player and have probably been our best performers along with The Scottish Player. Not sure who else comes out of it with any credit. I like Rashford but the rest of them are £#%&!ing wasters.
