Football Glen Hoddle for England

again. Apparently he's being touted for caretaker manager position. It's no wonder Muamba's recovered.

Hoddle had England playing some decent stuff tbf

He'll never get it in a million years though. The Press would kill him...& the players wouldn't take him seriously if he started prattling on about alternative medicine or tactics.

What a £#%&!ing @#%&! that bloke is. Imagine being one of the best players of your generation and dying knowing you've won £#%&! all and can't even be a decent pundit. I bet hoddle texted him a cringe gif when he heard.

sooner have hoddle than redknapp tbh

i'm sure the fa are quite happy to have somebody else talked about, instead of it being harry all the time and them getting blamed for £#%&!ing spurs' season up.

he would do no better or worse than any other manager.

the manager isn't the problem.

it's the press, the media and the fans who insist on calling the shots that are the problem, bullying the manager and setting their own agenda and obviously, bar a few exceptions, the players aren't up to it... whether it's tactics or pure technical ability, who knows but england will continue to be the epitome of mediocrity indefinitely.

After his treatment of Beckham post France '98, Hoddle shouldnt be allowed back in the country ffs let alone as national manager. The bloke is an utter disgrace.

as an 'interim' manager there's none better imo

hope he brings in a couple new faces aswell, wouldn't mind seeing the likes of Leon Osman, Grant Holt or Danny Graham being given a chance
