Default 5 Premiership clubs have sold all their season tickets.

We're not one of them. 5 Live has just said our waiting list seems to have evaporated. Well done lads, I know it's a tough decision but you've all made it in the best interests of Manchester United.

Abandoned Exec ticket but renewed my J stand one.

Hope that gets me fringe approval with the ticket police.

I doubt the Glazers are that arsed tbh. Just means more tickets available for daytrippers and potential megastore shoppers.

Less people singing about hating the Glazers too. It's all wins for them.

hth.

They need money to pay interest. There's no guarantee that they'll sell all tickets. Even before the Glazer's I sometimes had trouble getting rid of tickets for games with smaller clubs. I can see rows of empty seats in a January Carling Cup night game. The press will love it and it will become a vicious circle with them getting £#%&!ed off as a result.

Sounds more like hope to me that sniff.

They are creaming off more than enough from advertising, TV and other commercial ventures to be able to withstand the pinch of a few less tickets sold, I fear.

You didn't watch that Panorama program on the Glazer's, did you? They're skint, their American businesses are dragging them down and last year United loaned them £10M just so they could keep afloat. I'd imagine they are deeply concerned over flagging ticket sales.

After conferring on the matter this has been deemed acceptable.

I did, and as long as United are turning over big bucks, they will be fine. To do this, they need only to keep improving on sponsorships, TV Deals and maintaining a competitive level in the CL. All of which are beyond doubt for the next 5 years at least.

Why is being competitive in the CL beyond doubt? SAF will be gone then, who is to say how well his successor will do? We'll probably have sold Rooney and everything else not nailed down. I bet you'd get good odds at the bookies if you backed us to get to say the QF's every year for 5 years.

Tis true, we could've cashed in on Rooney, Hernandez when his price has tripled and have a forward line of Diuof, Owen with Gibson in behind as no one wants to buy these 3.
