I don’t think he’s downed tools, this is just what happens with him. If you have a midfield and forward line full of good players who can carry him through it, then fine. If you haven’t, and we haven’t, and your team game revolves around players digging in, closing down and pressing, you’re starting the game a player short if he plays. We won’t improve until he’s ‘rested’.

It’s his intent too . Even when he gets past a player you’re hoping he can find a person in the box rather than expect him to.

Would be interesting to know if he is being impacted by the Sancho issue

You’re reluctant to dig him out because you’re worried about the political motivations of other people?

In which case, why not just dig him out for playing like a complete #@&%! every week? Let other people worry about their own agendas,

Don't think there is much doubt over that tbh.

Got a fearful kicking today but could do with not showing so much that he's rattled.

Unrecognisable from last year but we've seen this before. He can turn it around but then he can go back this way to. It's frustrating.

It's frustrating when he does nowt for 90 minutes. Love the lad, don't want him out but I'm £#%&!ing angry at seeing him constantly running at defenders and the ball bouncing off their shins - then it's the arms shrugging and head down, sulking. He's got fight in him so where has it gone?

Even when Rooney was £#%&!ed off with the club not matching others for spending and he threw a transfer request in, he still fought. I'm not sure why Rashford gets a pass because we know he'll eventually come good. Maybe.

Rooney would always be Mr 100% on the pitch but when his head wasn't right that wasn't always a positive thing. But this isn't the Rooney thread, it's the Rashford one.

Feel like these are times that call for a bit of leadership and we're not seeing it. From anyone, not just him.

His decision making and general play has always been sub-standard.

Even last season when everything he hit was going in, his decision making and general play was sub-standard.

He's trying now at least. He might start knocking goals in again. He might occasionally manage an assist or 2.

He'll just never be this elite world beater so many of our fans have deluded themselves he is/will be.

You don't have to worry. Rashford never had any values. Just a creative way of making bank, devised by his advisor.

Directly from the horses mouth:

Later in the video:

"By fusing advertising with social justice, we successfully boosted Marcus' profile to the point that we had brands falling over themselves to link up with us. In one year we had campaigns with Burberry, Nationwide, McMillan Publishing, Aldi and more. Notice that none of these brands are what you'd consider traditional income streams for athletes. That's evidence that we broadened his profile, not just among sports fans but with mothers, sisters, non-traditional generators of athlete income. In total, we boosted his career-end net worth projections - analysed by SportsMediaPro - by over £60m."

The whole panel is a perfect hellscape of modern football and Rashford is the face of it.

Yes. And traffic laws.

So many united fans gobbled up this bullshit as well.

"OMG he's giving it to Boris."

All I’m saying is, other people’s weird agendas shouldn’t make you reluctant in expressing what you believe to be the truth.

Finally people are cottoning on.

Last season was an anomaly.

Now we are relying on him .

Big trouble!

If he was dropped (as he should be), replaced by garnacho and we lost a couple of games, you’d be hinting that the manager was biased against him, and that the truth of how awful it is for him would eventually come out.

In short, it’s easy being you.

He'd be better off down the right as an out and out winger, with Dalot on the overlap. He's trying to be too clever when he's clearly not up to the job.

He rarely beats his man unless he pushes the ball past them and wins a foot race
He’s greedy
He’s can’t dribble past people
He sometimes won’t go for a 50/50
He’s got no crossing ability of note
I wouldn’t say he’s got a good footballing brain
He offers very little

Needs benching and quickly

It wasn’t an anomaly because he’s got numerous big scoring seasons under his belt. But he is and always has been hugely inconsistent (has always scored in spurts even at the best of times) and that new contract will not have helped matters.

If you could objective for one minute you’d see you’re almost 100 percent wrong.

I even referenced it in the sancho thread. To you specifically.
Including a spelling mistake i make on purpose. Go and look

Go on then, name another season where he's scored 25 or more goals in all competitions.
