Off topic I know
Wherever Haaland rocks up next will not be his final club.
Unless the club accept a release clause they will loose their investment.

Think we can put the transfer window to bed.

Another season of yo-yoing our way through games as the midfield flaps about like a beached fish.

So niguez, nevez and camavinga are all £30m-40m but we'd rather not get them until Jones, Lingard and others are off the wage bill? Wtf....

So what's the difference then compared to when Woodward was in charge? Still inefficient, still inept, still a £#%&!ing joke.

Woodward doesn't leave until the end of the year.

Good job Varane was available for bargain price or we wouldn’t have got him either

Always about doing the bare minimum with us, isn’t it?

We don’t spent nothing, ofcourse, but we always get less than what we need. We get part of what we want. We’re always one good window away.

Nearly, but not quite.
Good, but not great.
Done well, but could be better.

Our transfer activity reflects where we are: doing just enough to stay competitive, but no real desire to be the best.

We’ll finish behind Chelsea because they’re ruthless. We’ll finish behind city because they’re better and we’ll finish behind Liverpool because they’re better when they aren’t missing Van Dijk.

You can thank glazers and Woodward for that. One signing was due a year ago and the other was going to go on a Free.

I’m sure I read somewhere inter had defaulted 50 mill on their lukaku payment , add another 60 million for our total and you get to see the club has only really invested 60 odd million on the back end of last season.

Absolute @#%&!s the lot of them.

Both Sancho and Varane fees are over the life of the contract.
The investment this summer is barely more than the Glazers take as a dividend every year.

Tbf it is a good window it’s just that chelsea and City will have better windows and pull further ahead than they already are. We cannot compete with them it’s as simple as that

“I have a nice house” doesn’t mean you wouldn’t want a better one.

If we manage to get rid of Jones and Lingard then it’ll be a good window, but until then it’s been adequate.

By the time we sort the midfield out Varane and Maguire will be mid 30’s and need replacing and around we go again

Next issues that become more pressing will be goalkeeper and centre forward.

So next summer we’ll likely need

CM
Keeper
CF

And any new problems that have arisen,

We’ll sort two, leave one or two hanging and around we go,
