Would be an exceptionally strange thing to say if it wasn't true.

It's not a great start if Ineos first decision is to sack the manager and to do it in the exact same way as what was one of the worst bits of conduct by the Glazers and Woodward.

Doesn't really give me much hope, especially when the Big Tory explicitly said in his first interview it's about giving the manager the environment to succeed to only go back on that at the first opportunity

This type of thinking is ridiculous.

United have done £#%&! all wrong in this imo.

It’s the media that have run with the story the day before the final and perhaps no decision has actually been made on his future. So if the club come out and say that a day before the cup final it would undermine him.

The club, manager and players should be fully concentrated on the final and by the sounds of it they are.

If the club had come out and said his job is safe, you can guarantee the headlines for weeks would have been about the ‘dreaded vote of confidence’. It’s the media who have treated him with disrespect over and over again, and still now with their ‘new manager’ stories on an almost daily basis.

He was just interviewed on BBC and he was asked about his future. His response and demeanor imply to me that he has been told he's out.
