£#%&!ing shambles.

A sad day in the clubs history when the owners pretty much make it public knowledge that we’re no longer an actual football club. We’ve all known for a while obviously, just feels such a surreal moment.

Football can £#%&!ing do one.

And the country rejoiced. Seriously, rival fans will be laughing their arse off at that. And rightly so.

It’s not a surprise. I didn’t expect him to be sacked this week and here we are. The club deserves every bit of shit that will come their way now, but the only people who will actually suffer are Ole and the fans.

If Ole is staying i would like to see them bring in a better / experienced coach to work above Carrick & McKenna - someone who can get the players working on team shape etc because that is clearly isn’t happening with the brothers Grimm

Absolutely £#%&!ing astounding. They really are going to wait until the entire season has gone down the shitter before doing something aren't they.

He's lost the dressing room now, so the next few games are going to be £#%&!ing grim

I honestly think there is too much ego in the team to have them play as a team

Lingard > pogba is such a hard thing to write

Brave decision.

Hope it pays off for us. Can’t see it though.

So a football manager to work under our current football manager?

Just sack him and bring in an actual football manager.

Fold the club.

He will be gone after getting battered in the next three games.

Spurs will beat us, Atalanta will beat us and City will pummel us.

It will depend on the next three. Win any of them, and we’ll stick with him…. But if we lose any like we did on Sunday. A heavy
Loss and he’ll be gone.

The fans will turn completely and the players will down tools.

I said a couple of weeks ago that he won’t be sacked until that happens. It’s close, but we’re not there yet. The glazers aren’t bothered about results. They don’t care that Sunday was severe and hurt…they would happily keep him on until top four is gone. We could be bottom of the league, but if top four is mathematically possible, they’ll leave it…..

.but they will care if the mood turns because a cloud over the club affects their bottom line.

There is absolutely no point in dragging this out. They're just kicking the can down the road. The dressing room is lost, the players don't believe in him any more. What the £#%&! is the point in continuing with this?

The players taking no responsibility again, what a shock.

“Responsibility for this rests with Ole Gunnar Solskjær, because the team and staff are his. But the focus on the coaching exculpates players who have earned a reckoning. Every morning and before every game, they perform a rondo, a small-sided drill in which one group keeps the ball from another – something United struggle to do against opponents less skilled than their teammates.

The skills required are so basic and fundamental – pass and move, find space and make an angle – that the players should be able to transfer them on to the pitch by themselves. It is unlikely Alex Ferguson ever told Roy Keane and Paul Scholes how to “progress the ball” because they are international footballers, and none of Solskjær’s squad should need such instruction either; the problem here is not one of ability but of mentality.
It is for this reason that things have descended so far, so fast: Solskjær’s players are failing to apply basic principles of running and thinking. They cannot hide behind the manager when they are ignoring the basic standards of professionalism expected of every person, in every job”

I don’t see how anyone can argue with this.

Yep. It seems to be history constantly repeating itself with the players under different managers and coaches. They just slowly forget how to do the absolute basics. It's mental. Three different types of managers with different levels of experience: The Headteacher, The Headcase and The Head of PE.

Whether you think Ole is utterly useless or just short of the level required, it's hard to ignore the players part in the utter shambles of the past 6 or 7 years.

If we have to carry on with Solksjaer for the time being, then at least shake things up a bit with squad. @#%&!ify the players that continually fail to the basics and get them out of the team. He's got nothing to lose, no matter what happens it's 99.9% likely that he won't be the manager next season.
