Despite LVG having 4 windows & 250 million to address these weaknesses . People keep saying Utd needed a complete rebuild after SAF left . Why ? They had just streeted the league by 12 points , it was over by january for all intents & purposes. We had a great mix of youth & experience . There was no need for a rebuild, what it needed was a coach of the calibre of Mourinho to take over there & then but unfortunately Ferguson's arrogance , ego & all round Scottishness overrode common sense . Utd had never finished outside the top 3 , & only 3rd once, & had won the title with far worse squads than he left behind . Maybe other clubs did have better squads, but that is why it was , or should have been all about the managerial appointment . Its taken 3 years, but we now have the right man in & if he can persuade Pogba to come back then we will have a complete new spine that oozes class & arrogance, the way we did with Cantona & Keane etc. I just can't understand why you are not excited about this coming season

Well they know the tv deal payments have been made, so want it in one instead of on tick like United normally do

I imagine we hold a few euros on account somewhere. We'd be better off paying more over a few years though hoping the pound strengthens.

€120m was £102m on Wednesday. It was £84m a year ago.

No idea if Poggers wants it or not. I suspect the agent wants it more. Surprised if Juve don't want to cash in and are just playing hardball though.

Still, even if it doesn't happen, Jose will have us up and running again, even round pegs in round holes is a big improvement.

One or two banana skins in the early games tbf, going off recent history.
