He probably wouldn't mind another season or so here but he won't wanna blow it with Madrid. Suppose it's different to other positions, if they sign a goalie who becomes their number 1 he's missed out.

My dad (blue) can't understand why a keeper would go Madrid after seeing what cassillas has had to put up with.

New guy? Used to play for Atletico? They'll tear the £#%&!er apart worse than Bale.

Meanwhile, he has United fans who put up with his weakling performances a couple of seasons back and now adore him.

Can only assume he is @#%&! whipped.

De Gea has been advised to keep schtum until summer precisely so he doesn't have to sit on the bench and be judged a judas.

The dirty bastard is denying us at every turn, has no scruples and will do whatever it takes to destroy the club.

I have no idea why.

It's £#%&!ing nuts, I just don't get this behaviour. If he came out with some %@#$&!s spiel about Madrid being a once in a lifetime chance, it would still be better than this.

Louis knows he's gone. He should be benched for the remaining games. We've stood by him during the good and the bad. It's just a slap in the face

You can point the finger at De Gea all you like - the fact is we should have signed him up to a new 5 year deal on top money after we won the league in 2013.

Instead we were throwing new contracts at Nani and Valencia ffs. :shakehead:

We won't miss him. Has been given cult status due to one season of Moyes and one with 3 at the back.

Well that all depends on who we get in to replace him doesn't it, surely?

Again, 2013, 2 years into a 5 year deal of which for one season he'd been £#%&! and helped cost us the title and the second he'd been average to decent in the main as we won the league. Why should he have been given a massive pay rise at that point? the following summer fair enough.

I seem to recall Hernandez being given a big, £#%&! off new contract and pay rise and he's been £#%&! ever since
