I don't like the little shit more than anyone else, but it's not completly mental having him fit (possibly obv) and available with a few games under his belt to cover...
I'd be happier with them than that useless little @#%&! yes, he offers £#%&!ing nothing.

No he isn't. In any £#%&!ing way. Have you seen Owen in his "appearances" this season, if you have you might be the only one. Hernandez might not have started the season too well but at least he's £#%&!ing turned up when asked.

In which way though? He's fast but apart from springing the offside trap his movement is poor and his touch is terrible. Owen is probably a better finisher aswel. Hate to say it but 'Chicarito' has a long way to go to get anywhere near Owen's level.

Jesus christ. How many games has Hernandez played? Give him a chance to get settled. We already know how crap Owen is so what's the point?

Well, developing a cloak of invisibility can take a while.

Owen's top class tbf. Just needs to get games. I'd start him on the wing for a while then move him in with Berbs. He's a cultured finisher. Have Rooney dropped to midfield or left wing/back.

He can't offer less than nothing can he!

Rather him on the bench in a must win game than Bebe currently surely?

He can be useful in the 96th min...

I'm lost.

If Owen never played for Liverpool the attitute would be completely different. That much is fact. Give him time etc. fox in the box etc. Just trying to be impartial.

But he did play for them.

Give him time? What time? He's too bloody old. The young lads need time....and have it. Too late for midget.

now i would play hernandez over owen every day of the week. owen is the past

but as one of the few guardians of the truth round here i feel it is my duty to point out that owen actually played his part in some of united's best counter attacking movements last season, such as those seen against City (1-2), in Moscow (1-0), in Besiktas (1-0) and some others. he also scored some very good goals as well, including that one in the league cup final. what i'm trying to say is that for all the air shots he wasn't actually that bad. in fact it was mildly pleasing to see that he could actually get involved to good effect in some of united's general play. seem to remember him playing evra in for the pen at burnley as well for example.
