Is this some usage of the word "wonderful" that the English language was hitherto unaware of?

cheeky bleeder.

I mean for the bants on here it'd be wonderful.

My dream scenario;

Rooney ends this season level on goals scored with Sir Bobby.
All the creeps on here celebrate his failure to go ahead outright.
....then 2019/20 season, Rooney is announced as the new manager.
He unexpectedly picks himself on the bench for the opening game & puts himself on for Rashford (denying the lad a hat-trick in the process) to take a Stretford End penalty that he scuffs into the bottom corner.

I reckon that'd finish somebody like Tory Bob off tbh

voted to bench him. he's way past his best and shouldn't be an automatic starter, but i'm not getting rid of him completely. he will score some important goals for us this season (twici).

Bench for league. Give him games in Europa and League Cup and play him up front only. If he starts a scoring run, great. At the very least he will beat Bobby's record so we can £#%&! off all the sentimental bullshit and move on.

Why would anybody want him to beat sir bobs record by scoring league cup goals? £#%&! him.

Has a club captain ever been hounded out of a club by his own fans before or are we a first to try?

Must have happened in Italy, surely? Those lads know how to conduct a hate campaign alright.

They don't £#%&! about with online polls - a load of @#%&!s in hoods turn up at the training ground and intimidate the players.
