VG2C. He'll be like a new signing once his fitness is up. The pre-season he never had.

He earns money each time he posts. He drives up Instagram views, Instagram then pay him for his views as they can slide in adverts and such . It’s common knowledge how Instagram works

It’s been widely reported he gets paid tonnes every time he posts. He doesn’t have to specifically be advertising something

Most of them wouldn't know where you were talking about The social media noise is not fans, they wouldn't know Manchester if it landed on their head. Utd have become a serious digi marketing brand and this is the outcome, internet 'fans' are as profitable as match goers these days.

yes he does have to be advertising something as the money always come from the advertising company

Instagram don’t pay him for posting.

Please stop talking.

That isn’t how Instagram works. To monetise your Instagram account, you either need to be doing a paid partnership/sponsorship post, or you need to be driving traffic to your store with links in your stories/bio etc

Instagram do not pay people just for posting

Plenty on here continued to really defend him even though it was obvious he limited the way Haggers wants us to play with a fluid forward line up. his sulky on pitch demands also appear to force others into bad decisions and mistakes (has Bruno ever played well with Ronaldo on?)

Fans screaming siuuuuuuuu or whatever it is at him. Arm eating cringe.

You then add in that he wants to leave, is stupidly overpaid and behaves like a £#%&!ing child too.

Can’t leave soon enough…shove his siuuuuuuu up his arse.

If you’re being paid to advertise something you have to disclose it, if you don’t you get fined. See: Kim Kardashian being fined over $1mill for not disclosing that she was advertising some crypto currency fairly recently. Some low level non entities from the only way is Essex also got in trouble not long ago for something similar.

Ronaldo isn’t being paid per instagram post, it doesn’t work like that.

Good show. We'll see how sorry he is when he's on the bench at the next game he's picked in. If he tunes in he could be a great asset unlocking defences late on. Needs to face up to where he is at today's game.

Sort of depends, iirc the Kardashian one was pretty egregious as it was obvious that the post was an ad. There are loads of ways to get around that though, product placement for example. You can argue that you always drink diet coke and that's why it features in most of your posts. Loads of content creators will still be getting around the ad disclosure.

With that said, I doubt companies like Nike (or Coke from my example) would be willing to take the risk to circumnavigate the already loose rules of advertising on social media. Being caught out doing so could be the push regulators need to put in stricter rules. Same goes for influencers with followings as large as Ronaldo. He doesn't need to do dodgy advertising deals on social media. He's Ronaldo ffs. The legit sponsers and ads bring in more than enough money for him, and the companies he advertises get more than enough for their ad money spent by doing it legit.

Smaller content creators and companies will and do circumnavigate the rules when they think they can.

Anyway. £#%&! him out of the squad and ship off to Lisbon in January.

Bye.
