If the siblings are paid off by a third party, the brothers won’t be in control anymore, bearing in mind the current holding is 69% between them.
THE OTHER TWO WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THEM OUT

You’ve got the brothers stumping up £2bn to buy their siblings out, then somehow finding a mysterious benefactor to buy 49% of a company they own 69% of but, but leaving them in charge, despite them being broke and all this somehow leaving United in a better financial position.

I’m saying they can’t do it

They won’t be rich enough to do that without selling the club, so no.

So you, who has been banging on about debt, doesn't understand that individuals can get in debt

I do, but I also understand that they’re not going to be able to get into sufficient debt, nor would they want to. Nobody is giving them that money without the power that comes with that amount of equity in the club and this time the club’s financial position is such that it can’t support such debt.

Capeesh?

Or do you think they’ve got some mysterious benefactor that will be prepared to chuck a few bil at them despite their clear failings? Actually, don’t answer that.
