Saying he's beaten in the air all the time is clearly nonsense.

But regardless of all that, it boils down to performances, and Rio has been in great form this season.

Vidic has £#%&!ed up more often than Rio has.

Pure the point was he had a good World Cup 2002 and was the best defender we had in 2006 as well.

Smeggs 3-5-2/3-4-3 is gonna be a brilliant option very soon and I can't wait. Hope it doesn't take Rooney as long to learn it as 4-5-1 is taking him, though!

Any particular reason why we should be playing 3-5-2?

I'm not sure of that? Are we a mid-table team in the 90s with Glenn Hoddle as manager?

Talking to me? To me it is crucial to be able to adapt effortlessly to the game you're playing in. 3-5-2 is just another part of that.

It clearly won't, but that wasn't the question. Why would we play it?

Tumescent Throb, so are you talking about being able to play it, or it being our standard system?

Another string to the bow. With Hargreaves we would have the players to do it. Not seen enough of Simpson (or Bardsley) so it would be a limited tactic since Park looks dodgy positionally whenever he gets near right-back. Anyway, with our passing game (the best patterns in the league imo) and a sudden switch of formation, I reckon we could have a deadly weapon. Bit over-dramatic but you get the gist!

We should sell Rio this summer.

So that's Rio and Fergie gone this summer and Le Guen and Evans in.

Tune in next week to see why we should be offering Giggs a new 10 year deal.

3-5-2. I'd accept that if it meant Neville was £#%&!ed off.

Woodgate is the beat English defender, IMO. He was finally getting a good run of games when he £#%&!ed his thigh up. Brilliant defender. People will laugh at this state and claim he's shit, people just seem to be narrow minded on things.

Wouldn't take any of em over Rio, I rate Woodgate but would like to see him have a full season to judge more. This has to be a wind up......

I like Neville too, plays for the badge. Great servant to the club and underated.

I think Neville is pretty poor now and is a rent-a-quote idiot.

The people crucifying Rooney are the spoilt ones.
